Can we help you to relax this Summer?

Summer’s only really just started so it seems strange to start talking about autumn and even winter now, but with tailoring we are always thinking a couple of months into the future at the very least and you should be too.

As the temps go down and the nights draw in, more events start to make their way inside and it’s good to be ahead of the game.

So if you want to be stepping out in a new suit or jacket for September and October the time to order is now, bespoke and made to measure tailoring doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time to craft something unique for individual clients, so you always need to factor an 8 to 12 week lead time  to your thinking.  Added to that the wonderful new cloth collections are starting to drop now.  With gorgeous designs and suitable autumn weights which the masses haven’t seen yet makes it the perfect time to plan your finery for the cooler months.

So what’s going to be big this Autumn?  Well the soft tailoring will continue on for the summer, playing with the traditional silhouette is very a la mode, so think garments that play with the body’s shape and structure, wider shoulders on the jacket for instance, possibly something with a bit more drape. Wider legged trousers too with a longer leg than the more recent styles will be a hit too.  Pair it with a higher waist with a more detailed waist styling.

Given the current state of the world people seem to be reacting to that by showing a more relaxed style, something that says, I’m chilled and rolling with the punches. Why not, we all want to feel like we can take on the daily grind and look stylish doing it.

The summer may only be getting into its groove but with a little bit of planning you can relax and enjoy it, knowing that when those leaves start to drop and you’re reaching for your jackets and blazers, that you are ready to lead the way in something new and fresh and perfect for the new season.

Now lie back on that sun lounger and chill, just don’t forget the suncream or to give us a call.
