Bespoke Tailoring

Otherwise known as, the full shebang. You’ll choose everything from the fabric and its weight, to the number of buttons on your cuff. The main thing that makes our bespoke service different is that everything is handmade, so you can be sure the quality is top notch.

We could tell you about our years of experience, and how we only use the finest fabrics sourced ethically from across the UK. Or that we have designed and created suits for Sirs, Lords and celebrities. But what really makes us different is us.

Whilst we value the traditional methods of tailoring, and love doing our bit to keep it alive, the stereotypes around tailoring – that old boy’s club feel – it’s just not who we are.

We’ll make you a quality garment, but we’ll do it whilst having a laugh & a joke with you, with no judgement, no snooty atmosphere, and no jargon. We understand that most of the people who we make suits for aren’t tailors, so we’ll explain everything you need to know in a friendly & helpful way that makes you excited to step into our shop, and leaves you with some totally unique garments that you love to wear.

Extremely pleased with the made to measure service from H&H having had two linen suits made up from my choice from a wide range of cloths and slightly adjusted after a first fitting. Stuart also delivered a first class waistcoat using a piece of brocade that I sourced from elsewhere. Excellent value for money. Stuart was an absolute godsend, he listened, advised, listened again and took me through all the various options. Once I'd chosen the cloth I left it in his capable hands (and the lap of the gods) When the suit arrived I definitely wasn't disappointed, it was just what I wanted and hoped for!! After a few tweaks by Stuart it fitted perfectly and I wore it with pride. I got quite a few comments on how sharp the suit looked and I was able to enjoy our special day feeling a million dollars. If you are thinking of getting a suit for a special occasion or just treating yourself, do not hesitate H&H really are excellent.

These were bespoke suits that turned out perfectly. We were guided through the process brilliantly and the team there are extremely skilled and know their stuff! We were offered suggestions and a large number of fabric and pattern choices. Our individual tastes and choices were taken into account and made possible. Needless to say the suits came out just as perfectly as we had hoped. We were welcomed back to make a few alterations, which was no hassle at all. This was our first experience of having bespoke suits created for us, and we are so thankful for the skill of everyone at Hardmann and Hemming for making it possible.
