Being an academic Crawford had a pretty specific brief when he came to us. Tailoring that was professional whilst being relaxed, outfits that would work well in a business meeting, but also reflected that working in an office wasn’t Crawford’s day to day, and could be worn in social setting too.  So, professional, fun and flexible.

Now this didn’t have to be just a suit, in fact it would be better if it wasn’t, so we started looking at separates as well, sports jackets and blazers and contrast trousers, working on a pick and mix principle.

We found cloths that reflected a more playful style whilst remaining professional and added linings to bring a more fun slant to the garments, settling on a blue 3 piece suit, grey trousers and a more burgundy toned sports jacket and then threw a shirt in to the mix as well.

This gave Crawford the flexibility he wanted, allowing him to wear the suit as a whole or just the jacket or waistcoat with the contrast trousers, and the sports jacket could be worn with either trouser. In total 8 combinations (not including the shirt), more than enough to mix things up for an entire week of meetings and leaving something new for going out.

A great way to keep things fresh whilst not breaking the bank with multiple suits.
